Stiløk is a Table and a Bench set, made out of reclaimed old growth Douglas fir wood, surrounded by the idea of recycling and embracing imperfections based on the Wabi Sabi concept
As a team, we aim to design two removable modules, thinking about how the user experiences and interacts with the space. We wanted to incorporate a soft material- bungee cord with solid wood as our joinery, acquiring it's strength as well as flexibility.

The bench focuses on the use of wood joinery to provide stability in out T-Shaped They are connected to the surface with two sets of stitches

The zig-zag shaped legs are stitched with 4 cords This live hinge joinery keeps the table stable and allows for it to be a completely disassembled and flat-packed when needed
